Who is Eligible:
All
Dallas/Fort Worth area individuals who have made significant contributions to the field of logistics are eligible for the
Distinguished
Logistics Practitioner Award.
This includes industrial personnel with responsibilities in a functional
area of logistics or distribution, warehouse personnel, carrier
personnel,
educators-anyone who has made a significant contribution to the advancement of logistics management. For example, a person could be nominated for contributions or innovations involving technology,
for
contributions in educating others in the concept of logistics, or
for increasing the awareness of the general business community of logistics
management's role in the overall economy. Nominator's Responsibilities: As
a nominator, you are responsible for demonstrating that your nominee
deserves this award. You must provide evidence that your nominee has
made a significant contribution to the profession in the Information Required: The
nominator is required to provide a detailed résumé of the candidate's
achievements and contributions. The résumé may be up to, but no more
than, five (5) pages in length. It should describe specific aspects of
your nominee's business and professional experience, and provide
specific examples of the nominee's: The
nominator can enlist members of the profession who can support and/or
expand upon the nominee's qualification by including his or her
supportive quotes, or illustrative sentences/paragraphs, of the
candidate. Please keep in mind all information cannot exceed five (5) pages in total length. |
Outstanding Contribution to Logistics Education This honor is awarded to the individual that has made outstanding contributions to logistics education in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. This honor takes into consideration a candidates contribution to logistics education at all levels, from high schools to college curriculums. This candidate is recognized for helping make logistics education a reality in the Metroplex. Who is Eligible: All

a nominator, you are responsible for demonstrating that your nominee
deserves this award. You must provide evidence that your nominee has
made a significant contribution to logistics education in the To
receive consideration for the 2008 Logistics Education award, the Dallas
/ Fort Worth Roundtable must receive the nomination recommendation and supporting data
for the candidate
no later than March
28th of that year.
