Outstanding Contribution to the Logistics Community


This honor is awarded to the individual with outstanding service to the logistics community in the North Texas area. This honor takes into consideration a candidates service to the community in the areas of community service, charity and diversity.

Who is Eligible

All Dallas/Fort Worth area individuals who have made significant contributions of community service, charity and/or diversity to the logistics community in North Texas are eligible.  

Please note:
Not eligible for consideration are the current Dallas / Fort Worth Roundtable executive board members (President, President Elect, Immediate Past President, VP Programs, Secretary, Treasurer, VP Education, VP Business Outreach, VP Technology) and the current years Award Selection Committee.

Nominator's Responsibilities

As a nominator, you are responsible for demonstrating that your nominee deserves this award. You must provide evidence that your nominee has made a significant contribution of community service, charity, and/or diversity to the North Texas logistics community.

To receive consideration for the 2007 Logistics Community Service award, the Dallas / Fort Worth Roundtable must receive the nomination recommendation and supporting data for the candidate no later than February 28th of that year. Nominations should be e-mailed to:  awards@dfwcscmp.org.  

Information Required

The nominator is required to provide a detailed résumé of the candidate's achievements and contributions. The résumé may be up to, but no more than, three (3) pages in length. It should describe specific aspects of your nominee's business and professional experience, and provide specific examples of the nominee's service to the community, charity or diversity.

The nominator can enlist members of the profession who can support and/or expand upon the nominee's qualification by including his or her supportive quotes, or illustrative sentences/paragraphs, of the candidate. Please keep in mind all information cannot exceed three (3) pages in total length.

Please include the following information for both the candidate and the person submitting the nomination:

- award for which the candidate should be considered 
- candidates name, title, company, address, phone, e-mail 
- submitter's name, title, company, address, phone, e-mail
